The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation of the European Union that standardizes the rules for the processing of personal data by private companies and public authorities across the EU. Its purpose is, on the one hand, to ensure comprehensive protection of personal data within the European Union and, on the other hand, to guarantee the free movement of data within the European Union.

The provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation place particular emphasis on a high level of transparency in data processing and on comprehensive rights for data subjects.

We regard the protection of personal data and privacy as a core responsibility of our actions, in order to ensure your trust and to place you at the center of our activities. For this reason, we began at an early stage to adapt our business operations, processes, and systems in compliance with the new legal requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Our data protection organization is structured in such a way that the use of your data complies with all applicable data protection laws and that the principles of transparency, data necessity, and data minimization under the EU General Data Protection Regulation are given particular consideration.
