Care beyond death: protection and comfort for your loved ones
Saying goodbye to a loved one is a time of deep grief and great emotional strain. During this difficult time, financial worries should not be a concern. With Prisma Funeral Care, AXA’s funeral insurance with death benefit assistance, you can provide your relatives with valuable security and tangible peace of mind.
‘Funeral Care’ is more than just a standard death, funeral or burial insurance policy. It combines a death benefit (ranging from €3,000 to €15,000 through PrismaLife AG’s life insurance) with unique support in the event of death provided by AXA’s assistance insurance. This ensures financial protection, as well as emotional, practical and legal support for the bereaved – for up to one year after the death.

Exclusions and important information
A unique combination of comprehensive funeral assistance and a death benefit
As part of the ‘Funeral Care’ service, your next of kin can rely on a personal Care Manager – a qualified social worker – who will contact them personally within a few hours of your death being reported. This personal Care Manager will arrive on site as soon as possible to meet with you. The Care Manager takes the pressure off, offers a listening ear and coordinates support for up to one year following the death. (A service provided by AXA Assistance).
Thanks to the death benefit, you also ensure financial security for your loved ones. Depending on your situation, you can take out cover for a sum insured of up to 15,000 euros, which will be paid out following your death. You therefore benefit from life insurance. (Service provided by PrismaLife AG)

Your passing places an enormous emotional strain on your partner, children, siblings, parents and other close relatives. They do not have to cope with this burden alone. A psychologist is on hand to support them.

Following your death, your surviving relatives will face many legal issues, such as the execution of a will and the calculation of inheritance shares. The Care Manager will support them, with the help of solicitors, in all legal clarifications and matters.
Palliative care
If you are receiving palliative care, you can count on our help even at this stage. We’ll support you in sorting out important matters whilst you’re still alive.
Household support
Your surviving relatives will receive support with day-to-day tasks. The service includes domestic help, babysitting and, if required, home monitoring. Someone will also look after your pet.
Assistance abroad
