Intention exists if the policy­holder/insured person delib­er­ately provides false infor­mation or conceals infor­mation. Such false state­ments or concealed infor­mation would normally result in the contract not being concluded in the first place. A delib­erate deception exists, for example, in the following case: the insured person does not inform us that he/she suffers from a chronic heart disease, although this would be a criterion for exclusion.
